This entry is a special one, I suppose. I am typing this on my Palm, sitting in a cramped seat on a 757 in flight to San Diego. Obviously, I’m not posting from the plane, as I can’t get the Internet up here, but I am typing from there. Really. Honest.
I spent a good chunk of my four hours in the air actually working on comics. Yeah, my buffer carries me through Comic-Con and beyond, but I still don’t want to fall behind. Unfortunately, I didn’t achieve my best results. I didn’t have room to pull out the Wacom, so I had to use the blasted TrackPoint. My index finger still hurts. And the guy in front of me had his seat back down the entire time, so I couldn’t open my ThinkPad’s screen all the way. I had to crane my neck at an odd angle just to see. That has to be the first time I’ve ever thought of that nice 17″ screen as a detriment. But I did finish three dailies in flight, August 23-25, 2005. If they don’t turn out the best, I blame the guy in seat 36D on Delta 273.
