Weekly Twitter Updates for 2009-06-13

June 13th, 2009 by Jeff | Dump Core

  • Wife got me the ENTIRE Babylon 5 collection (all seasons & movies) for our anniversary. It's good to have a geeky spouse…. #
  • "Up" is awesome. Everyone else should stop making movies & let Pixar take over from now on. #
  • New GPF: http://bit.ly/HlSCx #
  • New GPF News: http://bit.ly/3xDyaR #
  • My employer now has a corporate Twitter feed. Now comes the moral quandary to follow or not follow. External marketing vs. internal memos… #
  • GPF SVN repository just hit revision # 1000. Should I celebrate or mourn? (Or postpone festivities until # 1024?) #
  • So… is Fedora 11 *finally* coming out today… or are they going to delay it another couple weeks? Good thing I'm not a bettin' man… #
  • I really ought to move the servers to something more stable, like REL or CentOS. Still, I use Fedora at home so it's what I know best. #
  • New GPF: http://bit.ly/s8eic #
  • I just *knew* that as soon as I started porting the blog to the new server that WordPress 2.8 would come out. One thing at a time, folks… #
  • New GPF: http://bit.ly/4vBJT #
  • Company coming this weekend = today is "Jeff works like a dog to clean house" day. Sometimes having day off every 2 wks isn't a good thing. #
  • Upside to previous tweet: Blog server upgrade in progress & hopefully will be complete in an hour or two. #
  • Blog server is now running Fedora 11 AND all the blogs (yes, there are multiple) are on WordPress 2.8. Now… I collapse. #
  • Wow… 10 hours later and facebook.com/jeff.darlington was still available. Unfortunately, GPF doesn't have the 1k fans to grab a username. #
  • Clarification: GPF doesn't have the 1k fans *on Facebook* to grab a username. Plenty outside FB. If you're on FB why not become a fan today? #
